Marshmallows Dipped in Chocolate

Winter is here and what is more perfect than making some sweets  in the kitchen with your kids.
My parents bought to my sweet little Lian a bag of pink & white marshmallows and immediately I thought "well why not dipping them in chocolate?"

So I melted a quality dark chocolate, you could melt over a double bowl what ever chocolate you want: white, milk, bitter sweet or all :) my sweet little helper put the marshmallows on a lolly pop sticks and started to cover them in melted chocolate and for the finale we have dipped them in sprinkles for the party and festive affect.

We had lots of fun and with the remaining of the melted chocolate we dipped some sweet red strawberries.

Nutella Mini Cupcakes

Now days I'm looking for fun, easy recipes for cakes, cookies and cupcakes that will fit my busy day :)

Here I found this lovely recipe-HERE from Be A Fun Mum which is so easy and kind of yummy, in this words I mean it's ok, but maybe the kids love it better :)

The web has lots of similar versions for this kind of cupcake and ofcoarse you could play with it and make it your own.

Here are mine:)

My ideas for making it your own:

  • Adding Marshmallows inside each cupcake before baking.
  • Combine 1-2 tbs peanut butter.
  • Adding 2 tbs plain yogurt.

Mung Beans and Sweet Potato Soup

Hello dears, how was your Valentine day? Hope you had a romantic day yesterday. I had a nice day with my family and today is my birthday:) already got a beautiful card from my hubby and a fab present of body lotion, soaps and treats that I love and a flash drive that I've asked, cause I really need one to keep all the pictures on my computer.

Well, remember that I want to eat better, so here I'm keeping up with a healthier diet and continued to cook things that I've never tried before. This time I tried Mung beans, which I've heard on the beneficial of it, but never tried before. I must admit that I absolutely fell in love with these yummy and easy cooking beans!
Well I had sweet potatoes and now wanted to have a soup with the mung beans and sweet potatoes looked out on the net and found Aylin's amazing blog: Glow Kitchen  she offers lots of healthy dishes with nutritional benefits. So I tried her Mung soup and it was delicious! Of course I made a few things of my own, like using 2 tsp of coconut oil to sauté the vegetables and added 2 celery sticks that is it.
Her recipes are easy to follow!

For the main course I've filled Chard with rice, carrots, sweet potatoes, onion, garlic and raisins and baked in the oven. Filled chards were served with whole rice noodles with vegetables cooked in coconut water.

Nutrition on my Mind

Hello guys, I'm so happy that weekend is just across the corner!  Though I'm sick again,  I hope next week will start with some new energies.  Meanwhile I'm starting to pay attention on my nutrition, more vegetables and whole wheat products.  Also am trying to reduce from 3 cups of coffee to only 1, which is very difficult for me, as I'm addicted to this gorgeous energy drink.
Well for today's lunch I made whole rice noodles with vegetables in coconut water and chicken breast covered in crumbs on top it turned out delicious!

After a Long Time... Floral & Marsala

An outfit picture that I took at the end of my work day, so I look a bit tired :) Hope you'll like it, I loved the floral & Marsala combo.

Dear readers, unfortunately I was way too absent lately, this is so sad to me, because I really love and enjoy blogging.
I also love reading other blogs and commenting on your lovely posts.
After giving birth I was highly absent, I tried to combine and manage doing everything like before, but in the real world couldn't do it:) my absent and lack of blogging started while I was 6 month pregnant during 2013 I hated every single outfit cause I was too huge and every dress looked like a tent or was really uncomfortable. Pants were the worst! It was so annoying to feel the pants line on my waist and it felt like I was strangled my tummy:) I have gained 25 kg. It wasn't that bad, but a bit not healthy, especially that one time during the second trimester that I've gained 5 kg in 1 month! I ate lots of sugary dishes, and I had a thing for pizza... yummy!
The only 1 thing that was actually healthy and I also had the munchies for it was avocado.

So since than it was very hard for me to keep up with blogging and for this New Year, I've decided to take it more seriously, cause that is the thing I enjoy doing the most!
Especially I enjoy reading your comments, I really do appreciate every single one:)

So for the last 2 month everyone in my family was winter sick:)

Have this ever happened to you? Being overwhelmed with everything and still trying to keep holding on to things, cause you don't want to give up? How do you manage to keep writing and getting your post often?
I really need advices:)

Here is a new tea I found, I love this brand, their teas are unique and the packaging is so trendy.

and this pot is an amazing hot chocolate cake with marshmellows and cream! yummy:))

Kalemegdan the Zoo & a Yummy Omlet

Serbia is the greatest! So much fun and so many places to visit. This time I was in a short visit at Belgrade and this time not for shopping, which is a bit tough when you are travelling with a baby.
Shopping is fun, but I must admit that it isn't something I can't live without:)
It was much more fun to visit the fab zoo and to see my daughter enjoying!
The zoo is located in the Kalemgdan (Belgrade fortress) the largest park in Belgrade which is located above the Danube and Sava rivers

Sun on my Wrist

Hello guys! Just love my trip to Serbia and will try to show you my OOTD while I'm here:)
For today's post I wanted to show you the yummy "healthy" lunch I've ate at a gorgeous restaurant on the Danube river. Also I'm wearing my new watch from borntobeprettystore.com I'm pretty happy with it, as its style is something that I don't usually wear, but really wanted to try something that is different in style.
The watch came in a cute little box as seen before here, I forgot to bring the box with me.
Sandals are from Zara, a gift from my dear mom.

Strawberry Jam

I bought 3 little boxes of strawberries and knew I'm not going to finish it all. so one box I washed, cut and freeze: for making smoothies or a sorbet, the other one ate:) third one made a simple strawberries jam with a little apple, sugar, half tsp vanilla and a few drops of Grand Marinier.

I like  making my own jam, it is quite simple, you get to control what goes inside and controlling sugar levels.
Of coarse you can always buy good quality jam, but I like home made and I like finding ways to use all of your ingredients, so you're not wasting any food.

Meals, December & Nostalgia

Love December, lots of days to celebrate but it also one of the busiest month ever:) so like a lot of people I'm extremely busy with gifts, meals and entertaining but I also love this as I'm getting gifts:) for moi and for my little one.
It hard to make it all and to eat properly as I try to combine it all:) so here's couple of the most tastiest meals. I also ate chestnuts, which I absolutely love!!! it's my all time favorite, as my father used to make them for me when I was a child. We lived back than in Ralja, a beautiful village in Serbia and we had apple, pear etc trees and also a chestnut tree in our yard and in the winter my father roasted chestnuts for me:) so it kinds of nostalgic for me:)
Do you have some nostalgic food?

oh and there were lots of rose hip bushes and my grandmother used to make a killer jam out of the fruits, when I come to visit I immediately goes to buy one and eat it with blinches or on white fresh baked bread.
Do you familiar with this jam? do you love it?

Floral-Red & a Lunch

This week was quite interesting and intense, but in a good way. I spent a day on a TV studio, which was quite exciting and nervous!  I was interviewed about my work, as an art curator. I arrived with my husband, which was awesome, as we have celebrated 12 years together the day before, but we postponed the fancy lunch to the day after:) So this is what I wore to the interview, floral tube skirt, which are quite trendy with peplum and my brand new shoes from Tsubo, which I love!!!
