Galactic Nails DIY

I've been in love with the galactic trend recently and wanted to create this look on my nails, not a whole look but something that will have a galactic vibe into it.
H&M

Asos

So here are the manicure pictures, though I've been trying to get a better last step photo, but didn't succeed well.
How to create the look: You're going to need a sponge or an eyeshadow sponge to dab the second color.
2 nail polishes, I've been using the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Purple Potion no.26 and Revlon's Ocean Breeze.

First step after buffering your nails is to apply 2 coats of Purple Potion, or any other color of your choice and wait until dry.

Second step: apply a little Ocean Breeze onto the sponge.

Third step: dab the sponge with the color onto your nail tips couple of times.

For a super galactic result you could apply at the end, a coat of glittery nail polish.

Olympic Nails - DIY

I've got hooked to the Olympics!!! and above all to the gorgeous nails of the competitors, especially the swimmers.
The U.S.A gold medal winner, Missy Franklin with patriotic nail art, one hand in red with the American flag and the other one is the same only in blue.
The 400 m swimmer, Aimee Willmott, U.K had the Olympic symbol on her thumbs and red on the rest.

Here is the DIY for your Olympic nails in 5 steps:

Step 1: Apply 2 coats of white

Step 2: Take a piece of sellotape and a toothpick. Tape it on a flat surface
Step 3: Drip a drop of blue on the tape
Step 4: with the dipped toothpick draw a circle
Step 5: keep on 4 more times.
If you don't have green you could combine yellow and blue together
